It amazes me to no end that there are people dumb enough to honestly believe that we live in a post-racial society

This is a short film about a 17 year old kid who’s helping to expose the high-level racism in the NYPD and the sad truth is it’s not really localized to just them

You really need to watch this video and then remember it the next time you feel like dismissing the experiences of someone who’s been hurt by institutionalized racism

film cops, tape cops, hold cops accountable - the video discusses the personal pressures associated with being a member of the police department, and by showing the world the kinds of things they are TOLD TO DO, we can move toward a new policy that protects the public AND the officers who are being coerced
